Lamborghini Unveils Revuelto SV as Most Powerful Model

Lamborghini launches the Revuelto SV, its most powerful production car ever, featuring hybrid technology and a starting price of $741,172.

Lamborghini has officially introduced the Revuelto SV, a limited-edition hybrid model of its V12 Revuelto, marking it as the fastest and most powerful vehicle ever crafted in the luxury sports car maker’s factory.

This release continues Lamborghini’s prestigious “SV” lineage, which has a history spanning 55 years, starting with the Miura SV. Known for lighter, more aerodynamically optimized, and more powerful supercars, the Revuelto SV aims to elevate the driving experience with an electrified boost, as noted by the car’s product chief.

Alessandro Farmeschi, who oversees the Revuelto product line, commented, “The Revuelto SV gives our customers the opportunity to go beyond in terms of performance. We wanted to provide something more race-focused while ensuring the thrill of driving a Lamborghini remains at the forefront.” The Italian manufacturer plans to produce only 1,963 units of this unique model, each starting at a price point of $741,172.

The Revuelto SV showcases a blend of cutting-edge technology and the luxury sports car dynamics that enthusiasts crave. It is powered by Lamborghini’s renowned naturally aspirated V12 engine that, combined with three electric motors, produces an astonishing power output exceeding 1,050 horsepower. The car accelerates from zero to 100 kph (62 mph) in a mere 2.4 seconds.

Farmeschi further emphasized, “When our clients choose a Lamborghini, they do it for the design alongside the applied technology. The essence lies in both the engineering and the enticing engine sound, which has been fundamental since our establishment.”

In addition to increased power, the Revuelto SV boasts refined aerodynamics marked by sharper angles, bold fins, and strategically designed wings and air intakes that ensure optimal air direction and enhanced downforce. The car also features a specially calibrated suspension, a newly developed carbon-ceramic braking system, and a dedicated Pilota Mode driving setting tailored for personalized racetrack performance.

The interior has been redesigned to evoke a racecar or fighter jet cockpit atmosphere, equipped with specialized sport seats featuring carbon shell structures or optional monocoque carbon fiber race seats, ultimately offering a more authentic motorsport driving experience.

Typically, Lamborghini’s limited editions sell out rapidly before public announcements. Its SV variations are particularly sought after, often coming with higher prices and increasing demand among collectors.

Farmeschi concluded, “Purchasing a Lamborghini goes beyond mere ownership; it reflects a desire and zest for the driving experience. Additionally, it serves as a vehicle that maintains its value over time.”
