Influencer Connor Murphy, known for his fitness and “looksmaxxing” content, has tragically passed away at the age of 32 after an apparent drowning in Thailand. Reports indicate that authorities in Samut Prakan province were alerted on July 7, following erratic behavior displayed by Murphy at a luxury rental property.

Witnesses claimed that after returning by taxi to the residential area, Murphy attempted to enter a different vehicle, which prompted an agitated response due to the driver’s refusal. This incident led nearby residents to call the police, who quickly responded to the scene.

Upon arrival, officers reported that Murphy ran through the property, eventually jumping into a nearby lake. Eyewitnesses stated that he swam but soon appeared to become exhausted and ultimately drowned. The body was later recovered by rescue divers approximately 20 meters from the shore.

Authorities found no indications of assault and have initiated an autopsy as part of an ongoing investigation. Additionally, reports emerged of two unused syringes and unidentified white pills found in Murphy’s vehicle, alongside various pills located in a bag. There were also signs of significant paint damage within the rental property, described as black and yellow splatters.

Murphy’s girlfriend indicated that there had been no known issues leading to this incident and expressed that she was unaware of any drug use on his part. She described his behavior that day as peculiar, noting that the spray paint damage occurred overnight while she slept.

Known as a “giga chad,” Murphy amassed a following through his focus on bodybuilding, fitness, and aesthetics, with roughly 2.6 to 2.7 million followers across his social media platforms, including Instagram and YouTube. One of his last videos was titled “Obituary Pending,” where he commented, “You motherfuckers have an unhealthy relationship with death.” This tragic event has left his followers and the influencer community in shock over the sudden loss.
