Zara Larsson acknowledges her concert ticket prices are high and expresses desire for more involvement in pricing for future shows.
Zara Larsson is aware of the financial strain her fans face when attending her concerts. The Swedish pop sensation expressed her agreement with fans who have described the ticket prices for the Bangkok leg of her ‘Midnight Sun Tour’ as excessive.
In a TikTok post, Larsson acknowledged that while the prices align with what other international shows are charging in Bangkok, this does not make them any less burdensome. “And even though they’re in line with the market for international shows in Bangkok, it doesn’t make them less expensive,” she stated.
Larsson expressed her desire for a more affordable entry tier at her concerts, wishing to make them accessible to all. “Concerts shouldn’t be this super exclusive thing that people need to save for months for,” she noted.

Although she does not currently set her own ticket prices, Larsson hopes to change that. “For the next shows, like, for my next tour, I don’t think there’s any reason why I shouldn’t be a part of, like, ticket pricing, or, like, I just want to be more involved, essentially,” she said.
Her upcoming Bangkok concert is set for November 1, with ticket prices ranging from 2,800 to 9,000 Thai Baht, or approximately $84 to $270. In addition to Thailand, the singer has shows planned across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines.
Larsson’s popularity has surged this year, with her classic hits such as “Lush Life” and “Ain’t My Fault” climbing the charts once again. New tracks like “Midnight Sun” and her collaboration with PinkPantheress, “Stateside + Zara Larsson,” have also contributed to her renewed presence in the music scene.
As concert ticket prices continue to rise, especially following the trend set by significant events like Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’, the conversation surrounding accessibility in the music industry grows more critical. Secondary markets, in particular, have seen even higher price tags as resellers capitalize on the demand for sought-after tickets.
