Napoli agrees to sell Romelu Lukaku to Fenerbahce for €6 million. The Belgian striker has passed his medical and is set to earn €10m per season.

Napoli have reached an agreement to transfer Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku to Turkish giants Fenerbahce for €6 million plus bonuses. The 33-year-old forward has already completed his medical examinations in Istanbul and is set to earn €10 million per season with his new club.

Lukaku will continue his professional career in Turkey after Napoli successfully negotiated a transfer deal with Fenerbahce. According to sources, the initial fee stands at €6 million, with additional performance-related incentives included in the agreement. The Belgian international has also agreed to personal terms with Fenerbahce.

The transfer has progressed rapidly following productive discussions between the two clubs. Industry insider Gianluca Di Marzio confirmed that a formal agreement has been reached, paving the way for Lukaku’s transition to the Turkish Süper Lig.

Having passed his medical, Lukaku is now expected to finalize the move shortly. The two clubs are in the process of exchanging the necessary transfer documentation to conclude the deal officially. With all significant hurdles cleared, only the relocation of paperwork remains before Lukaku is officially a Fenerbahce player.

This move signals the end of Lukaku’s time in Naples, where he has been a part of the squad for two seasons. His stint in Serie A was marked by success, contributing to Napoli’s triumph in the Scudetto title. As he prepares to depart from Italian football, Lukaku looks forward to a new chapter with Fenerbahce.

With the medical completed and formalities underway, an official announcement is anticipated in the upcoming hours. Lukaku is expected to join his new teammates as Fenerbahce makes final preparations for the season.
