Jay-Z has revealed additional dates for his ‘Jay-Z 30’ concert series, adding performances in London and Los Angeles after a triumphant run at Yankee Stadium earlier this month.
The rapper’s new schedule includes a second show at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on September 4 and 5, alongside performances at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium on October 23 and 24. He is also set to perform at Paris’ Stade de France on September 10.
This announcement comes during a busy year for Jay-Z, who made a notable return to live performances with a headlining set at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia. At this event, he showcased his extensive catalog and featured a range of special guests such as Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Memphis Bleek, Jazmine Sullivan, Bilal, and Young Gunz.
Earlier in July, he completed a thrilling trio of sold-out concerts at Yankee Stadium. The first evening celebrated the 30th anniversary of his iconic debut album “Reasonable Doubt,” while the second night marked the 25th anniversary of “The Blueprint.” The final show, dubbed “Extra Innings,” included notable guest appearances from stars like Beyoncé, Blue Ivy Carter, Eminem, Pharrell Williams, Rihanna, Fat Joe, Swizz Beatz, and Slick Rick.
In addition to these performances, Jay-Z is set to feature in an upcoming eight-part documentary series titled “Jay-Z in 8,” directed by Rick Rubin. The series, debuting on HBO this fall, will provide an in-depth look into the rapper’s music, lyrics, life experiences, and creative process.
