Snowflake Reports 22% Surge on Strong AI Momentum

Snowflake sees a 22% increase in its stock price following robust results, driven by the adoption of its AI coding agent, CoCo.

Snowflake Inc. experienced a remarkable uptick, with its stock price increasing by 22% following the release of its latest financial results. The company attributed this growth to significant momentum from its artificial intelligence coding agent, CoCo, which has now garnered 9,100 accounts—surging by over 2,000 accounts in just one quarter.

For the upcoming fiscal third quarter, Snowflake forecasts a product revenue of $1.59 billion, comfortably eclipsing the $1.50 billion consensus from analysts surveyed by StreetAccount. This positive outlook comes with a revised projection for the entire fiscal year, as management has increased its anticipated product revenue from $5.84 billion to $6.07 billion, indicating a strong performance boost.

In addition to the improved revenue outlook, Snowflake is also adjusting its forecast for adjusted operating margins, now predicting a margin of 14.5%, up from the previous estimate of 13.5% made back in May. These adjustments reflect the company’s growing confidence in its operational efficiency and revenue-generating capabilities.

Company executives plan to discuss these substantial results in detail during a conference call with analysts, scheduled to commence at 5 p.m. ET. Investors and market watchers will be keen to hear insights into future strategies and growth areas as the company capitalizes on its AI initiatives.

This surge in stock value signals strong investor confidence, highlighted by Snowflake’s proactive adjustments to its financial expectations. The firm’s strategic focus on integrating AI technologies appears to resonate well in the market, setting a promising stage for continued growth.
