WME Group Appoints Marie Sheehy as Head of Corporate Communications

Marie Sheehy has been promoted to head of corporate communications at WME Group, overseeing strategy for the agency’s diverse business units.

Marie Sheehy, a seasoned professional with 21 years at WME, has been elevated to executive vice president and head of corporate communications for WME Group. In her new role, Sheehy will direct all communication strategies and operations across various segments of the organization, which includes the WME talent agency, IMG Licensing, and Pantheon Media Group.

Leading a dedicated team, Sheehy will be responsible for internal, external, and executive communications, in addition to overseeing corporate partnerships. She also serves as the primary spokesperson for WME Group, advising clients on both proactive and crisis communication strategies, while also enhancing marketing and publicity initiatives for client projects.

Sheehy joined the William Morris Agency in 2005 and has played a pivotal role in shaping communications strategies during significant company milestones. These include the 2009 acquisition of the William Morris Agency by Endeavor, WME’s acquisition of IMG and UFC, and the transition to private ownership, culminating in the formation of WME Group last year. She also spearheaded the launch of the Endeavor Content production division, currently known as Fifth Season, and managed corporate communications for the newly established studio.

In addition to her professional achievements, Sheehy is an active member of USC Annenberg’s Center for Public Relations Board of Advisors.
